Ingredients:

  • 1 Bagel (Everything, Poppy Seed, or Plain)
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 3 oz Smoked Salmon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Capers, drained

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  2. Toast the bagel halves to your desired level of doneness.
  3. Spread softened butter evenly on the toasted bagel halves.
  4. Spread the dill cream cheese mixture generously on both bagel halves.
  5. On the bottom half of the bagel, layer smoked salmon slices.
  6. Top with cucumber slices, then tomato slices, then red onion slices.
  7. Sprinkle with capers.
  8. Carefully place the top bagel half on top of the stack.
  9. Cut in half if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy your salmon bagel!
