Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups (355 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 4 cups (950 ml) cold water
  • 1 pint (567 ml) fresh raspberries, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 cup (240 ml) vodka (80 proof recommended)
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle chilled sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Combine lemon juice, sugar, and 1 cup of water in a pitcher. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. In a separate bowl or the bottom of a pitcher, gently muddle the fresh raspberries to release their juices.
  3. Add the muddled raspberries, the remaining 3 cups of water, and the vodka to the lemonade base. Stir well.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld (optional, but recommended).
  5. Fill glasses with ice. Pour the lemonade mixture about halfway. Top off with sparkling water or club soda.
  6. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh raspberries.
