Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups (355 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 4 cups (950 ml) cold water
- 1 pint (567 ml) fresh raspberries, plus extra for garnish
- 1 cup (240 ml) vodka (80 proof recommended)
- 1 (750 ml) bottle chilled sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions:
- Combine lemon juice, sugar, and 1 cup of water in a pitcher. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- In a separate bowl or the bottom of a pitcher, gently muddle the fresh raspberries to release their juices.
- Add the muddled raspberries, the remaining 3 cups of water, and the vodka to the lemonade base. Stir well.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld (optional, but recommended).
- Fill glasses with ice. Pour the lemonade mixture about halfway. Top off with sparkling water or club soda.
- Garnish with lemon slices and fresh raspberries.
