Ingredients:
- 1 package (3.4 oz) Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 0.5 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
- In a chilled large mixing bowl, combine the cold whole milk, instant vanilla pudding mix, and pure vanilla extract.
- Whisk vigorously using a hand mixer or balloon whisk for 2 minutes. During the last 30 seconds, sift in the powdered sugar and continue whisking until the mixture begins to thicken and is completely smooth.
- Gently add the thawed Cool Whip to the pudding base. Use a silicone spatula to fold the mixture carefully, cutting through the center and scraping the bottom until no white streaks remain. Do not over-mix to preserve aeration.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the starches to fully hydrate and set the structure for piping.
