Ingredients:

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 0.5 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

Instructions:

  1. In a chilled large mixing bowl, combine the cold whole milk, instant vanilla pudding mix, and pure vanilla extract.
  2. Whisk vigorously using a hand mixer or balloon whisk for 2 minutes. During the last 30 seconds, sift in the powdered sugar and continue whisking until the mixture begins to thicken and is completely smooth.
  3. Gently add the thawed Cool Whip to the pudding base. Use a silicone spatula to fold the mixture carefully, cutting through the center and scraping the bottom until no white streaks remain. Do not over-mix to preserve aeration.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the starches to fully hydrate and set the structure for piping.
