Ingredients:

  • 1 package (12 count) Dinner Rolls (e.g., Hawaiian Sweet Rolls)
  • 12 oz Deli Ham, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices Swiss Cheese (or 1 cup grated Gruyère)
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Onion Flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Light Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Poppy Seeds
  • Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Using a serrated knife, slice the entire block of rolls horizontally through the middle, keeping the top and bottom sections intact.
  2. Carefully place the entire bottom section of the rolls into the prepared baking dish. Layer the ham (half first), the sliced Swiss cheese, and then the remaining ham. Gently place the top section of the rolls back over the filling.
  3. Prepare the Glaze: In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Remove from heat and whisk in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and onion flakes until combined. Stir in the poppy seeds last.
  4. Evenly pour or brush the prepared glaze over the tops of the rolls, ensuring the sauce runs down the sides and into the seams. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake, covered, for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and return the dish to the oven. Bake for an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and toasted and the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove the sliders from the oven and let them rest in the dish for 5 minutes. Use a knife to slice the sliders along the lines of the rolls to separate them into individual portions. Serve immediately while warm and gooey.
