Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled
- 1 medium banana, peeled
- 1 cup (240ml) plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or non-fat, your choice)
- ½ cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy, such as almond, soy, or oat milk)
- 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste, optional)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 4-5 ice cubes (optional, for a thicker smoothie)
Instructions:
- Wash and hull the strawberries. Peel the banana.
- Add the strawberries, banana, yogurt, milk, honey (if using), and vanilla extract (if using) to the blender.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If using ice, add it now and blend until just combined. Be careful not to over-blend.
- Taste the smoothie and add more honey or maple syrup if needed. Add more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. Garnish with a strawberry slice or banana slice, if desired.
