Ingredients:

  • 12 slices Prosciutto (about 4 oz / 115 g)
  • 12 Fresh Figs, halved (about 8 oz / 225 g)
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar (120 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons Honey (30 g)
  • Fresh Arugula (for serving)
  • Crumbled Goat Cheese (optional, about 2 oz / 60 g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Halve the figs and set aside.
  3. Take a slice of prosciutto and wrap it around each fig half. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  4. Place the wrapped figs on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey, and bring to a simmer over medium heat until thickened.
  6. Bake the figs for 12-15 minutes or until the prosciutto is crispy and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and garnish with arugula and goat cheese (if using).
  8. Present immediately while warm.
