Ingredients:
- 12 slices Prosciutto (about 4 oz / 115 g)
- 12 Fresh Figs, halved (about 8 oz / 225 g)
- 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar (120 ml)
- 2 tablespoons Honey (30 g)
- Fresh Arugula (for serving)
- Crumbled Goat Cheese (optional, about 2 oz / 60 g)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Halve the figs and set aside.
- Take a slice of prosciutto and wrap it around each fig half. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place the wrapped figs on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey, and bring to a simmer over medium heat until thickened.
- Bake the figs for 12-15 minutes or until the prosciutto is crispy and golden.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and garnish with arugula and goat cheese (if using).
- Present immediately while warm.
