Ingredients:
- 2 (20-ounce) cans sour cherries in water or juice, undrained
- 1 (15.25-ounce) box yellow cake mix (not pudding mix)
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the undrained sour cherries evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cherries. Make sure to get good coverage!
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar.
