Ingredients:
- 2 (14 oz) packages Cocktail Sausages (Little Smokies)
- 1 packet (1 oz) Ranch Seasoning Mix
- 1 packet (1 oz) Au Jus Gravy Mix
- 1/2 cup diced Pepperoncini Peppers
- 1/4 cup Pepperoncini brine/juice
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, cut into pats
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar (optional)
Instructions:
- Lightly grease the interior of the slow cooker insert or line it with a slow cooker liner.
- Place both packages of Little Smokies evenly into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the entire packet of Ranch seasoning mix and the entire packet of Au Jus gravy mix evenly over the sausages.
- Scatter the diced pepperoncini peppers over the top, and pour the measured pepperoncini juice/brine directly over the seasonings.
- Arrange the 4 pats of butter strategically on top of the mixture. If using, sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top.
- Cover the slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. Stir gently halfway through cooking to ensure the seasonings dissolve into a cohesive sauce.
- Once cooked, allow the smokies to rest on the 'Keep Warm' setting for about 15 minutes before serving hot, using a slotted spoon or cocktail picks.
