Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) brewed strong coffee (preferably Thai coffee)
  • 1-2 whole green cardamom pods, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup (120 ml) whole milk or coconut milk
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and let it cool slightly. Optional: Deepen flavor with crushed cardamom pods during brewing.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine brewed coffee with sweetened condensed milk and sugar. Stir well to dissolve.
  3. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then place in the fridge for at least 20 minutes or until chilled.
  4. Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled coffee mixture over the ice. Top with whole milk or coconut milk for creaminess.
  5. Stir gently and enjoy your Thai iced coffee!
