Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces (60 ml) gin
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water)
  • 3 ounces (90 ml) prosecco or champagne
  • Lemon twist or thin lemon wheel for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Combine equal parts water and sugar in a small pan, heat until dissolved; cool.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, measure and add gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  3. Add ice to the shaker; shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until chilled.
  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled champagne flute or coupe glass.
  5. Carefully pour prosecco or champagne over the gin mixture, leaving some space.
  6. Add a lemon twist or wheel for a touch of elegance.
