Ingredients:
- ¾ oz bourbon (e.g., Buffalo Trace, Bulleit Bourbon)
- ¾ oz amaro (e.g., Nonino, Averna)
- ¾ oz Aperol
- ¾ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Lemon twist or wheel (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Gather all ingredients and equipment. Squeeze fresh lemon juice if not using pre-bottled juice.
- Using a jigger, measure ¾ oz of bourbon, amaro, Aperol, and lemon juice into the cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes.
- Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Use a fine-mesh strainer for a silky finish if desired.
- Add a lemon twist or wheel on the rim of the glass for visual appeal and added fragrance (optional).
