Ingredients:
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter or vegetable oil
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions:
- Melt butter (or heat oil) in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Gently crack the egg into a small bowl.
- Carefully slide the egg into the heated skillet.
- Cook until the egg white is mostly set, but still slightly translucent around the yolk (approximately 2-3 minutes).
- Gently flip the egg using a spatula.
- Cook for another 30-60 seconds, depending on desired yolk consistency.
- Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately.
