Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) freshly brewed strong black tea, cooled
- 1 cup (240 ml) freshly squeezed lemonade
- Optional: Lemon slice, for garnish
- Optional: Mint sprig, for garnish
- Ice
Instructions:
- Brew the tea (if using tea bags or loose leaf): Boil water and steep the tea bags or loose-leaf tea for the recommended time (usually 3-5 minutes). Remove tea bags/strain leaves and allow the tea to cool completely.
- Prepare the Lemonade (if making from scratch): Squeeze fresh lemons to obtain the juice. Combine the lemon juice with water and sugar to taste, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Combine Tea and Lemonade: In a tall glass filled with ice, pour in the cooled tea.
- Add Lemonade: Top with the lemonade.
- Stir: Gently stir to combine the tea and lemonade.
- Garnish (Optional): Garnish with a lemon slice and/or a mint sprig.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
