Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) freshly brewed strong black tea, cooled
  • 1 cup (240 ml) freshly squeezed lemonade
  • Optional: Lemon slice, for garnish
  • Optional: Mint sprig, for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Brew the tea (if using tea bags or loose leaf): Boil water and steep the tea bags or loose-leaf tea for the recommended time (usually 3-5 minutes). Remove tea bags/strain leaves and allow the tea to cool completely.
  2. Prepare the Lemonade (if making from scratch): Squeeze fresh lemons to obtain the juice. Combine the lemon juice with water and sugar to taste, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Combine Tea and Lemonade: In a tall glass filled with ice, pour in the cooled tea.
  4. Add Lemonade: Top with the lemonade.
  5. Stir: Gently stir to combine the tea and lemonade.
  6. Garnish (Optional): Garnish with a lemon slice and/or a mint sprig.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
