Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60 ml) Rye Whiskey
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Optional: 1 dash Orange Bitters
  • Garnish: Luxardo Cherry
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Place the coupe or martini glass in the freezer or fill with ice and water to chill.
  2. In a mixing glass, combine the rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters, and optional orange bitters.
  3. Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes.
  4. Stir gently with a bar spoon for about 30 seconds, until well-chilled.
  5. Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe or martini glass.
  6. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.
