Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces (60 ml) Tequila Blanco (ideally 100% agave)
  • 0.5 ounce (15 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) Fresh Grapefruit Juice (pink or red preferred)
  • Pinch of Sea Salt or Himalayan Pink Salt
  • Grapefruit Soda (such as Jarritos or Squirt) to top
  • Lime wedge, for garnish
  • Optional: 1/2 ounce (15ml) agave syrup if you prefer a sweeter paloma

Instructions:

  1. Salt the Rim (Optional): If desired, moisten the rim of your highball glass with a lime wedge and dip it in salt.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In your highball glass (or in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, if using), combine tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and salt. Add the agave if desired.
  3. Shake (Optional): If using a cocktail shaker, shake well until chilled (about 15 seconds).
  4. Add Ice: Fill the highball glass with ice.
  5. Top with Soda: Top with grapefruit soda.
  6. Garnish: Garnish with a lime wedge.
