Ingredients:

  • 16 oz (475 ml) of low-sodium tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) of celery salt
  • ¼ teaspoon (1 g) of fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) of smoked paprika (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Celery sticks for garnish
  • Cucumber slices for garnish
  • Olives for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Measure and combine tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce in a cocktail shaker or large glass.
  2. Add celery salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika (if using). Stir well to combine.
  3. Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes. Pour the Virgin Mary mixture over the ice.
  4. Add desired garnishes such as celery sticks, cucumber slices, or olives, and top with a lemon wedge for added zest.
