Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60 ml) Rye Whiskey
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Maraschino Cherry, for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Chill Glass: Place your coupe or martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice while you prepare the cocktail.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing glass, combine the rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters.
  3. Add Ice: Fill the mixing glass with ice.
  4. Stir: Stir gently for 20-30 seconds, or until well-chilled. Avoid shaking.
  5. Strain: Discard the ice from the chilled glass. Strain the Manhattan into the glass.
  6. Garnish: Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
