Ingredients:
- 1 bagel (Everything, plain, or poppy seed)
- 2 oz (55g) smoked salmon, thinly sliced
- 3 oz (85g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) finely chopped fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Optional: Red onion slices, capers, tomato slices, cucumber slices
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon juice, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.
- Slice the bagel in half horizontally. Toast to your desired level of doneness.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over both halves of the toasted bagel.
- Arrange the smoked salmon slices attractively on top of the cream cheese on one or both halves of the bagel.
- Add any desired toppings, such as red onion slices, capers, tomato slices, and cucumber slices.
- Serve your bagel smoked salmon immediately and enjoy!
