Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 oz (75 ml) Premium London Dry Gin (e.g., Beefeater, Tanqueray)
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Dry Vermouth (e.g., Noilly Prat or Dolin)
- 2 Dashes Orange Bitters (e.g., Angostura Orange or Regan's)
- Ice Cubes
- Grapefruit Peel (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Chill the Martini glass with ice or in the freezer. Empty before serving.
- Add ice to the cocktail shaker or mixing glass.
- Pour in the gin, dry vermouth, and orange bitters.
- Stir gently with a bar spoon for 20-30 seconds (stirred), or shake vigorously for 15 seconds (shaken) until well-chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled Martini glass.
- Express grapefruit peel oils over the drink, rub along the rim, and drop into the Martini.
