Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) instant coffee granules
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) hot water
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sugar (or sweetener of choice), adjust to taste
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy), or more to taste
- Ice cubes, enough to fill your glass
Instructions:
- Combine instant coffee and sugar in a mug. Add hot water and stir until completely dissolved.
- Let the coffee mixture cool slightly. This prevents the ice from melting too quickly. Pop it in the freezer for a few minutes if you're in a real hurry.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the cooled coffee mixture over the ice.
- Top with milk, adjusting the amount to your preferred strength and creaminess.
- Stir well to combine.
