Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60ml) Aged or Dark Jamaican Rum
- 1 oz (30ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- ¾ oz (22.5ml) Orange Curaçao
- ½ oz (15ml) Orgeat Syrup
- ¼ oz (7.5ml) Simple Syrup (optional)
- Garnish: Lime wedge
- Garnish: mint sprig
- Garnish: spent lime shell (optional)
- Ice (cubed and crushed)
Instructions:
- Fill a rocks glass or tiki mug with crushed ice.
- If using a lime shell, gently muddle it in the bottom of your shaker for extra lime oil.
- Add the rum, lime juice, orange curaçao, orgeat syrup, and simple syrup (if using) to a cocktail shaker filled with cubed ice.
- Close the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until well-chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over the crushed ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge, a mint sprig, and the spent lime shell (if used).
