Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (250g) natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup (45g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) pure maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. Combine the natural peanut butter, unsweetened cocoa powder, and pure maple syrup in a large mixing bowl. Stir vigorously with a spatula until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  3. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan using the back of a spoon.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until the edges are set and the top has a slight matte sheen. Do not over-bake; the center should remain slightly soft.
  5. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan for 30 minutes to set the structure. Lift by the parchment paper and slice into 12 equal squares.
