Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250g) natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (45g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (120ml) pure maple syrup
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- Combine the natural peanut butter, unsweetened cocoa powder, and pure maple syrup in a large mixing bowl. Stir vigorously with a spatula until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan using the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 20 minutes until the edges are set and the top has a slight matte sheen. Do not over-bake; the center should remain slightly soft.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan for 30 minutes to set the structure. Lift by the parchment paper and slice into 12 equal squares.
