Ingredients:
- 1 bag (10-12 oz / 283-340g) Tostitos tortilla chips (Hint of Lime recommended!)
- 1/2 cup (75g) Jicama, peeled and diced into small sticks (approx. 1/4 inch / 6mm)
- 1/2 cup (75g) Cucumber, peeled, seeded (if desired), and diced into small sticks (approx. 1/4 inch / 6mm)
- 1/4 cup (40g) Japanese Peanuts (or regular peanuts), roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup (40g) Mexican Candy - Tamarind or similar chewy, spicy candy (Pulparindo, Pelon Pelo Rico), chopped
- 2 tablespoons Chamoy sauce (like Miguelito or similar)
- 1-2 tablespoons Hot sauce (Valentina, Tapatio, or your favorite Mexican hot sauce), to taste
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice, freshly squeezed
- Optional: Tajin seasoning, to taste
- Optional: Pickled pork rinds, chopped into bite-size pieces.
Instructions:
- Chop the jicama, cucumber, and candy into small, manageable pieces. Roughly chop the peanuts.
- Carefully open the bag of Tostitos. If using a bowl, pour the chips in.
- Layer the jicama, cucumber, peanuts, and candy on top of the Tostitos. Distribute evenly.
- Drizzle the chamoy sauce and hot sauce generously over the toppings.
- Squeeze the fresh lime juice over the Tostilocos.
- Sprinkle with Tajin seasoning if desired. Mix gently if using a bowl.
- Dig in and enjoy the explosion of flavors!
