Ingredients:

  • 1 x 12-pack Sweet Dinner Rolls (e.g., King’s Hawaiian)
  • 12 oz Cooked Turkey Breast, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese, sliced or grated
  • 1/2 cup Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Poppy Seeds (Optional)
  • Pinch Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Using a long serrated knife, slice the entire block of rolls horizontally, separating the tops from the bottoms, keeping all 12 rolls attached. Place the bottom sheet of rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  2. Prep the Base: In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and the cranberry sauce until loosely mixed. Spread this mixture evenly over the bottom layer of the rolls.
  3. Layer the Turkey: Arrange the sliced turkey evenly over the cranberry base. Layer the Cheese: Distribute the sliced or grated cheddar cheese over the turkey. Seal: Place the top sheet of rolls back over the filling and press down gently to compact the layers.
  4. Prepare the Glaze: Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Whisk in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, garlic powder, and black pepper until fully combined. Stir in the poppy seeds last.
  5. Using a pastry brush, liberally coat the tops and sides of the assembled sliders with the butter glaze mixture. Ensure some of the glaze seeps down the sides for maximum flavor absorption.
  6. Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 12 minutes.
  7. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and return the sliders to the oven for another 8–10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
  8. Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Use the serrated knife to cut along the pre-scored lines to separate the 12 individual sliders. Serve immediately while warm.
