Ingredients:

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 teaspoons redbush tea leaves or 4 redbush tea bags
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2-3 whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Honey or maple syrup, to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add redbush tea leaves (or tea bags).
  3. Add sliced orange, lemon, cloves, and cinnamon stick to the saucepan.
  4. Cover and let steep for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Once steeped, strain the infusion using a fine mesh strainer or remove the tea bags.
  6. Serve hot, sweetening with honey or maple syrup to taste.
  7. Pour into mugs and garnish with extra citrus slices if desired.
