Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (40g) instant oats
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup (60g) plain yogurt (Greek yogurt)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) maple syrup (or honey, agave)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup (30g) fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 2 tablespoons (15g) chopped nuts or seeds (almonds, walnuts, chia seeds)
Instructions:
- In a mason jar or bowl, combine instant oats, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well.
- If desired, layer half of the oat mixture at the bottom of the jar.
- Add half of the fresh berries on top of the oat mixture.
- If desired, add the remaining oat mixture, followed by the rest of the berries.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts or seeds over the top.
- Seal the jar or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
- Give it a good stir and dig in!
