Ingredients:

  • 6 cups cubed watermelon (approx. 900g)
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves (approx. 15g)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (approx. 60ml)
  • 2-4 tablespoons agave nectar or simple syrup (approx. 30-60ml)
  • 4 cups cold water (approx. 950ml)
  • Lime wedges and mint sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cube the watermelon, removing any seeds.
  2. Combine the watermelon, mint leaves, lime juice, and 2 cups of water in a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Taste the mixture. Add agave nectar or simple syrup, a tablespoon at a time, until the desired sweetness is reached.
  4. Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth-lined colander into a large pitcher. Discard the solids.
  5. Stir in the remaining 2 cups of cold water.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill thoroughly (optional).
  7. Pour into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with lime wedges and mint sprigs, if desired.
