Ingredients:
- 6 cups cubed watermelon (approx. 900g)
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves (approx. 15g)
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (approx. 60ml)
- 2-4 tablespoons agave nectar or simple syrup (approx. 30-60ml)
- 4 cups cold water (approx. 950ml)
- Lime wedges and mint sprigs, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Cube the watermelon, removing any seeds.
- Combine the watermelon, mint leaves, lime juice, and 2 cups of water in a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
- Taste the mixture. Add agave nectar or simple syrup, a tablespoon at a time, until the desired sweetness is reached.
- Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth-lined colander into a large pitcher. Discard the solids.
- Stir in the remaining 2 cups of cold water.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill thoroughly (optional).
- Pour into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with lime wedges and mint sprigs, if desired.
