  • 0.5 cup (60g) vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tbsp (14g) ground flaxseeds
  • 0.5 cup (128g) creamy almond butter
  • 1/3 cup (110ml) pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) fine sea salt
  • 1/3 cup (55g) mini dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp (15g) chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. Combine the rolled oats, protein powder, flaxseeds, and sea salt in a mixing bowl. Stir until the protein powder is evenly distributed and no large clumps remain.
  2. Add the almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Fold the mixture together with a spatula until a heavy, tacky consistency forms that pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
  3. Gently stir in the mini dark chocolate chips and chia seeds, ensuring the mix-ins are evenly dispersed.
  4. Spread the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Once chilled, use a scoop to form 1-inch spheres and roll between palms until smooth.
