Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) Mexican Crema or Sour Cream
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) Fresh Cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Chili Powder (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Mexican Crema or Sour Cream, lime juice, cilantro, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chili powder (if using).
- Whisk all the ingredients together until well combined and smooth.
- Taste the lime crema and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more lime juice for extra tang, salt and pepper to taste, or chili powder for more heat.
- For best flavour, cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld. This step isn't essential, but it does enhance the taste.
- Serve the Lime Crema as a topping for your favourite dishes.
