Ingredients:
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (130g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (100g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease the baking pan or line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
- Allow brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy!
