Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (approx. 6 oz (170g) each)
- 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper
- 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut four large squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
- Place one salmon fillet in the center of each foil square.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
- Drizzle the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet. Top each piece of fish with 2 lemon slices and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
- Fold the sides of the foil up and pinch them tightly at the top to create a completely sealed packet.
- Place the packets on a baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 135°F to 140°F (57°C to 60°C).
- Let the packets rest, sealed, for 3 minutes to allow the residual heat to bring the salmon to the recommended 145°F (63°C).
