Ingredients:
- 4 pieces (5 oz / 140 g each) store-bought Naan flatbread
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) pizza sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
- 2 cups (225 g) shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz (115 g) pre-cooked grilled chicken breast
- 1/4 cup (15 g) thinly sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup (40 g) sliced baby bella mushrooms
- 2 tbsp (8 g) chopped fresh basil
- 1 tsp (2 g) dried oregano
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the naan pieces on the baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 2–3 minutes until the bread feels firm to the touch.
- Spread 2 tbsp (30 ml) of pizza sauce onto each toasted naan, leaving a 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) border around the edge.
- Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese across the sauce.
- Layer the grilled chicken breast, sliced red onion, and baby bella mushrooms on top of the cheese.
- Lightly brush the exposed naan edges with olive oil.
- Bake in the center rack of the oven for 7–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden-brown.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with fresh basil and dried oregano.
