- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (42g) malted milk powder
- 1/2 cup (approximately 85g) chopped milk chocolate
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
- Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk in the sugar, egg, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and salt into the melted butter until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour and malted milk powder to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chopped milk chocolate.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
- Let the blondies cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into 16 squares.
