Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) tahini
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- Juice of 1 medium lemon (about 2 tablespoons or 30 ml)
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) water (add more as needed for consistency)
- 1/2 cup (75 g) feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/3 cup (50 g) olives, chopped (Kalamata or green)
- Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish (optional)
- Pita chips or sliced vegetables for serving
Instructions:
- Combine chickpeas, tahini, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt in a food processor.
- Blend until smooth, adding water to reach desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary.
- Scoop hummus into a serving bowl or spread it onto individual serving plates.
- Top generously with crumbled feta cheese and chopped olives.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley or dill over the top for color and flavor.
- Serve immediately with pita chips or vegetable slices on the side.
