- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (50 g) grated cheese (e.g., cheddar or parmesan)
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- Sea salt, to taste
Instructions:

- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

- Shape the dough into a disc, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the chilled dough to about 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Place cut biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with a bit of water and sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and sea salt.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the biscuits cool on a wire rack before enjoying.
