Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons coarse kosher salt (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic (5 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (5 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (5 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (2.5 ml) (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme (2.5 ml)

Instructions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the kosher salt, black pepper, granulated garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), and dried thyme.
  2. Whisk all the ingredients together thoroughly until well combined. Make sure there are no clumps.
  3. Transfer the steak seasoning to an airtight container. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
