You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to submit anything through the site's forms.
2. Using the Website
You may use the website for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with anyone else's use of it. In particular, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten or abuse other visitors or the people who run the site;
- post content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful or deliberately misleading;
- send spam, advertising or unrelated promotional links through our comment or contact forms;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, overload it, or interfere with its security or normal operation;

3. Content and Copyright
The recipes, articles, text, images, graphics, layout and logo on this site are protected by copyright and belong to Cooking with Kendra or its licensors. They are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. That means you are welcome to:
- cook our recipes at home for yourself, your family and your friends;
- print a recipe or save it for your own kitchen;
- share a recipe by linking to its page, or by quoting a short excerpt together with a clear link back to the original page on cookingwithkendra.net.
Please do not republish full recipes, photographs or articles on another website, in a book, in a newsletter or on social media, and do not use our content for commercial purposes, without our written permission. If you adapt a recipe for your own blog or channel, rewrite the method in your own words and link to the original. To ask for permission, use the contact page.
4. Your Submissions
The site offers a recipe rating and comment form and a contact form. When you send something through them, the following applies.
Ratings and comments
Comments are public once published and appear with the name you enter. Please use a name you are comfortable showing, and do not include personal details such as your email address, phone number or home address in the comment text. Keep comments relevant to the recipe or article, polite and honest. We may edit, decline or remove any comment, including ones that are off-topic, abusive, promotional, or that contain links we cannot vouch for.
Your rights in what you submit
You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting a comment you give Cooking with Kendra a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the site for as long as it remains published. You confirm that you wrote it yourself or have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law.
Contact messages
Messages sent through the contact form (name, email address and message) are used to reply to you. They are not published. Details on how they are handled are in the Privacy Policy.
5. Recipe and Nutrition Disclaimer
Our recipes are developed and edited to give clear steps, realistic times and temperatures, ingredient substitutions and food-safety notes. Cooking still involves variables we cannot control, so please keep the following in mind.
- Results vary. Ovens, stovetops, pans, altitude, ingredient brands and size, and personal technique all change the outcome. Treat stated cooking and preparation times as a guide and adjust as you go.
- Nutrition information is an estimate. Any calorie or nutrient values shown are approximations. They depend on the specific products you use, portion sizes and substitutions, and should not be treated as exact.
- Check for allergens. Recipes may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish and sesame. Always read the labels of every ingredient you use and make sure each one suits you and the people you are cooking for. Substitution suggestions are general ideas and are not guaranteed to be allergen-free.
- Follow food-safety practice. Wash your hands and surfaces, keep raw meat, poultry and seafood away from ready-to-eat foods, refrigerate leftovers promptly, and reheat them thoroughly. Use a food thermometer to confirm doneness instead of relying on color or time alone. As general guidance, poultry should reach 165°F (74°C) and ground meats 160°F (71°C) at the thickest part; check current guidance from your local food-safety authority for other foods and for higher-risk groups such as young children, older adults, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.
- Take care with heat and equipment. Hot oil, steam, sharp knives, pressure cookers and appliances can cause injury. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your equipment and never leave hot cooking unattended.
- Not medical or dietary advice. Content on this site, including recipes labeled healthy, plant-based, low-calorie or similar, is for general information only. It is not medical, nutritional or dietary advice and is not a substitute for guidance from a doctor, registered dietitian or other qualified professional. If you have a medical condition, food allergy or special dietary requirement, speak to a professional before changing your diet.
By following a recipe you accept responsibility for using your own judgment in the kitchen.
6. Third-Party Links and Advertising
The site contains links to other websites, including our social profiles, and displays advertising supplied by third parties such as Google AdSense and advertising partners. We do not control those websites or advertisers and are not responsible for their content, products, services or privacy practices. Inclusion of a link or an ad is not an endorsement. If you visit a third-party site or interact with an advertisement, that party's own terms and privacy policy apply. Information about the cookies used for advertising, analytics and site security is in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and Accuracy
We work to keep the site accurate, available and free of errors, but we cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted, up to date or error-free. Recipes, ingredient notes and other information may be corrected, updated or removed at any time without notice. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through the contact page.
8. Limitation of Liability
The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the same extent, Cooking with Kendra will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content.
